MuslimTimes.com is a new born infant and it has just started crawling with this very first online edition. In the process, endeavor and struggle of its development, many people, Muslims and Non Muslims alike, have asked one prominent question-why Muslim Times? Perhaps, they might have assumed it to be-judging it just by its name-a communal magazine.

To all those whom I have not given an explicit answer (without showing the real picture at that point of time, it would have been difficult to convince them!), I just want to say that like the majority of Muslims around the globe, “The Muslim Times” too, will pursue the policy of communal harmony over tension, peace over conflict, consultation over confrontation, amity over conflict and amicable discussion over heated argument.

This website is not here with any hidden agenda but an open one. Our agenda is that we want to “Unite the intensely divided World”. A group of rumour mongers have spread false and baseless tales about the Muslim community around the world. This, in turn, has created a very scary image of Muslims. Every Country/Region/Community has a minority group of black sheep and under no circumstances, should it be generalized as the vice of the entire Muslim community which is, unfortunately, not the case.Like Muslims, a big percentage of people from other communities, whether Christians, Jews or Hindus, to name a few, are also peace loving and want to co-exist peacefully.

The birth of Muslim Times has taken place with these people in mind. With the help of voluntary writers/reporters/correspondents from around the Globe it will cover the news which otherwise wouldn’t get reported by the mainstream media. There are plenty of stories which can be told from another angle (the real angle) but never get the chance. There are plenty of unsung heroes and organizations in this world working for the betterment and development of society. The Muslim Times is committed to all such endeavours and news.

Thank you!

Wishing you peace and prosperity   (TMT)
